Jacob's Well is being built in Mayanja.  Before the well was even completed, villagers were coming and dipping down deep into the well to get fresh water. 

The day we came to dedicate the well, the villagers were dancing with excitement, praising God for the good work that had been accomplished on their behalf.  Many villagers had been accustomed to walking great distances to fetch water suitable for drinking.  Now, the public well is available to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

The dedication of the well may seem like a trivial event to some, but to the villagers in Mayanja, it was a BIG deal!  Not only did Heart of God International Ministries (Women of PASSIONS) build a well in Mayanja, but a church was planted adjacent to the well.  A congregation of believers gathers to give praise and worship to God for His favor and provision of pure water, to satisfy their thirst, by His powerful Hand.
